The ERGONOMIC ladder rack built for the US utilities

Load and unload heavy fiberglass ladders from high roofs in just 20 SECONDS without compromising safety.

The G2000 ladder racks are hydraulically assisted ladder racks that follow NIOSH guidelines for lifting heavy loads in the workplace, greatly mitigating health risks to workers' backs and shoulders. In this case, the weight comes from the fiberglass ladders, which, depending on their length, can weigh anywhere from 30 (length 16 feet) to 130 lbs (length 40 feet).

Why the G2000 aluminium ladder rack

BUILT FOR YOUR CREW.
DESIGNED TO ENSURE YOUR CREW WORKS IN EFFICIENT AND SAFE CONDITIONS.

HOW IT WORKS

ITALIAN ENGINEERING.
BUILT TO LAST.

No Compromises on Workplace Safety thank to the G2000 Ergonomic and Heavy-Duty Ladders Racks. Every component of the G2000 aluminium ladder rack has been designed with a single goal in mind - making your daily work safer, faster, and easier.

FEATURE 1 – WORKING SAFELY

SMOOTH. CONTROLLED. SAFE. EVERY DAY, FOREVER.

The G2000 ergonomic ladder racks is a hydraulically assisted ladder rack equipped with a system of gas springs and shock absorbers that facilitate the handling of heavy fiberglass ladders on high roofs. Ladder operations are performed with a controlled movement that requires minimal effort, protecting the operator from injuries to the shoulders and back caused by handling excessive loads. A 20-foot-long fiberglass extension ladder can weigh up to 54 lbs, this is a small ladder, but even so, it exceeds the weight limit established by NIOSH under optimal conditions, conditions that never occur when these ladders must be lifted by hand above the head to load them onto the roof (the maximum weight of extension fiberglass ladders depending on the different lengths – 24 ft / 61 lbs, 28 ft / 70 lbs, 31 ft / 85 lbs, 40 ft / 127 lbs). Finally, thanks to the G2000 ladder rack, operators work with both feet firmly on the ground and their back straight, without twisting; ladders are unloaded onto the ground and must never be lifted above waist height when being stowed back to vehicles’ roofs.

  • Significant reduction in the risk of shoulder and back injuries caused by lifting heavy ladders
  • Hydraulic-assistance by a system made of gas struts and shock absorber
  • Ergonomic operations: without lifting loads, back straight and feet on the ground

FEATURE 2 – IMPROVING EFFICIENCY

UP AND RUNNING IN JUST A FEW SECONDS.

TUnlock the rear latch on the G2000 aluminum ladder rack. Pull the ladder rack, sliding it along the bearings until it reaches the drop point. The ergonomic ladder rack descends on its own in a controlled motion until it is almost touching the ground. Release the ladder from the holding system, with the ladder lock in place, simply turn the handle to move the locking hook. Pick up the ladder and carry it to the work site. Quick and easy steps that require no effort at all - in just 20 seconds the ladder is ready for use by the worker. This process is repeated several times a day, every day, freeing up the work crews’ time and energy so they can focus on other activities that are more productive for utility contractors companies.

  • Unloading the ladder requires no effort and takes just 20 seconds
  • Loading the ladder with minimal effort in just 25 seconds
  • Excellent-performance even with 40-foot extension ladders on high roofs vehicles

FEATURE 3 – THE ONLY SOLUTION FOR HIGH ROOFS VEHICLES

PERFORMING ALSO AT A HEIGHT OF 11 FEET - OUT OF REACH FOR OTHERS.

When dealing with high roofs vehicles, the challenge is reaching them with heavy ladders - a daunting task even with some vans that have medium-height roofs, but that task becomes impossible when it comes to special bodies such as KUV bodies, enclosed service bodies, box trucks, and utility trucks. In these case we’re talking about roof heights ranging from nine to eleven feet, the roof cannot be reached even by raising the ladder above one’s head. That leaves only one option: to lower the ladder rack with the ladder on the ground and that is exactly the concept behind the G2000 utility truck ladder rack. The G2000 universal ladder rack can be installed on any type of vehicle: utility service trucks, KUV bodies, enclosed service bodies, box trucks, bucket trucks, high-roof cargo vans, contractor trucks, and trucks with a cap.

  • Adjustable ladder rack to the vehicle's actual height
  • Compatible with all types of vehicles
  • High performance at all heights from 5 to 11 feet

The G2000 heavy duty ladder rack is the result of 20+ years of engineering experience, but going a step further, we can say that the G2000 is the latest model in a series of ladder racks that we have been developing for over 50 years. It all began back when ladder stands didn't exist yet and a public utility company asked us to develop a solution to put an end to the constant back and shoulder injuries suffered by its workers and the resulting absences from work. Ever since then, increasingly innovative ladder racks have been rolling off our production line, certified and tested according to the highest international quality standards, to ensure that our customers receive a high-value solution for their business and their employees.
